The new brand of the Pestana Group, “Pestana Residence”, is the new business area that directly targets the real estate tourism and residential tourism sectors. It constitutes an important strategic focus of Portugal’s largest hotel group in this segment of the tourism industry. Along with high-quality projects, the new “Pestana Residence” brand introduces to the market an innovative product that unites tourist destinations with a guaranteed source of income.

The first projects to be launched under the “Pestana Residence” brand are the Bahia Lodge Residence, in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil and the Pestana Dunas in Porto Santo.

Co-ordination of “Pestana Residence” is led by José Roquette, administrator of the Pestana Group's Development Area, in close collaboration with the Group’s regional areas.

The creation of the new “Pestana Residence” brand constitutes a strong, clear focus on the real estate and residential tourism market. “The 35 years of know-how accumulated in the national and international tourism sector, combined with investment in privileged destinations and locations and the value placed on human resources have allowed the Pestana Group to consolidate its growth and follow the business trends of the global hotel market,” declared José Roquette, justifying the entry into this new segment of residential and real estate tourism as a complementary component of its tourism business.

The World of Pestana Residence: In addition to Brazil, “Pestana Residence” projects include the Algarve, Tróia and Porto Santo.

In addition to this new project in Brazil and another three to be developed in Portugal as part of a second phase, “Pestana Residence” will also comprise the Group’s already existing developments in the Algarve at Carvoeiro and, eventually, Silves. Future Group projects also include Tróia and Porto Santo, as well as others which are still under analysis.
